BCA SYLLABUS OVERVIEW & CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- One Hour Written Paper
- 25 Multiple Choice Questions
- General knowledge and understanding of welding (processes and procedure specifications)
- Understanding quality of Weld, Welding Symbols, Qualification and Safety
- Good practices of welding
- General Safety of Welding
- Two Hours Practical Test
- Proper Handling of tools and equipment and use of PPE
- Shielded Metal Arc Welding Process

- Trades Foreman – Pass 1 hour written test & 2 hours practical test

CORETRADE TRAINING & FAMILIARIZATION COURSE
- Preparation for Written Test
- 0.5 day’s training (4-hour class, from 8.00am to 12.00pm)
- In-depth training materials following the BCA syllabus will be provided
- Sample written test papers will be given to enhance the understanding of the course and allow trainees to better prepare for the actual test.
- Preparation for Practical Test
- 3.5 days training for practical test project (28 hours, 8 hours per day, 8.00am to 5.00pm)
- Intensive training on actual test bay in accordance to BCA’s test project
- Understanding the correct sequence and methods
- Understanding the BCA assessment criteria
